“I will sing of your love and justice; to you, Lord, I will sing praise.” The poet of Psalm 101 knows that we were created for one thing: to praise, to worship the Lord. This praise can happen with the boom of brass, the cascade of keys on a piano, the blurry run of a guitar, and the rich full chord of a hymn. This praise can happen in an annual, standing-room-only Christmas concert that explodes with voice…or it can happen in the silent arc of a dancer’s arm.
