May Christ “dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love.” Ephesians 3 offers sweet, simple language to capture the journey of faith, a journey of being more and more rooted and grounded. Whether we’ve just moved to this community or have lived here decades, we need a place to put down roots. Here in this church family, soldiers and their spouses – so used to a mobile life – find that they can slow and be still. Widows and widowers, who’ve lost their grounding, find that they are not alone. Anyone who has questioned their calling or their standing in God’s eyes can come be with fellow seekers. Together, we can find our footing again.
