The smiles and spark of children give us a glimpse of God’s delight. Here at PUMC, children belong, and become – serving as messengers of God’s promise for the world.
Kids Ministries
“With praises from children and from tiny infants, O God, you have built a fortress!” The writer of Psalm 8 testifies to the power that comes from our youngest and littlest. We honor that power – and put that energy to good use! – by inviting the children of our community to be ambassadors from God to the world. Our girls and boys travel to nursing homes for reverse Trick-or-Treating, collect cans of food for local pantries, stuff pillows for refugees in the Middle East, and create activity bags for children in hospital waiting rooms. No mission is too small – and no child is, either. Every Sunday morning and Sunday night, you can find our kids singing praise, playing games, and learning who they are in God’s eyes.
