Who We Are

We are Republicans and Democrats, Independents and Libertarians. We are black and white, rich and poor. We are young and old and right in the middle. We are southerners and mid-westerners with an aria of accents. We are native-born, we are foreign-born. We are military and civilian. We are students and teachers, managers and parents. We believe in the God who comes to us in a particular person, in a particular place: Jesus of Nazareth, born to unite us all. This same God meets us in our particulars and peculiars – not erasing our differences, but teaching us to live in community through them.
