The public is invited to hear Jason Howk, former military and nationally renowned expert on Islam, speak on "Islam for the non-Muslim” on May 18 at 8:30 am at PUMC. Jason Criss Howk served 23 years in the military conducting defense, diplomacy, education and intelligence missions. He focused on Islam and the broader Middle East for over 20 years in uniform and continues to teach and lecture about the topics to decrease misunderstandings about Islam and Muslim cultures.
