Pink Sunday
For nearly four decades, October has been recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. No one is immune from having breast cancer effect their life. In fact, 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. That is 1 person every 2 minutes receiving a diagnosis in the U.S. In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and in honor and memory of so many who we love, PUMC will be setting aside October 6th as our annual Pink Sunday. Please come to worship that day in pink if possible. We will have pink ribbons available for those who do not have pink available to wear that day.
